| About 1/3 of my belt has been shredded by rubbing against the rear timing belt covers. Has any one else had this problem and found a solution? I put this belt on only 600 miles ago so it's probably an assembly error. Just need to find out what so I don't repeat. It seems the only thing that prevents the belt from moving towards the engine is the washer behind the crank sprocket. This washer has a key-way, but slides on past the key and is loose with the sprocket. Is this correct? Then I had the beveled/cupped washer install concave out in front of the sprocket. All my bearings and pulleys seem in good shape. Maybe one got installed at an angle? Not obviously, but something I'm still checking on. Any other ideas?
